WHY ARE YOU AFRAID OF TECHNOLOGY?
So many people never get their businesses off the ground for one simple reason: They fear the technology it takes to get it all going. Websites, social media, newsletters, even just making business cards can be overwhelming if all you really want to do is teach yoga, practice Reiki, design awesome clothes or simply coach people on how to be more amazing in their life in some way. Sound familiar?
Let’s stop your fear right now, right here. You can do this. There are simple steps, so let’s create an action plan together and get over this hurdle today so you can focus on your business, not mine! Yes, I said mine. It’s my business to know websites, not yours, so let’s partner up and we will both be successful.
WHO IS SHANTI?
I have been involved with the internet world since the early 90s, but didn’t become a full on tech-nerd-webtress until around 2007 when I first got over her fear of code (thank you WordPress). Since then I have worked with over 400 people to build websites with the help of some very talented friends/project partners. These days I mostly work with CJ Ware (CJBuilt.com). Together we knock out some pretty cool websites.
My philosophy is that small business wonders should be in control of their own website and have the ability to make changes on their schedule, not on a programmers schedule. Working with me means you will be a part of the building process and will know how to work on your website after it’s live.
OK BUT WHAT WILL THIS COST?
I keep rates low by keeping sites simple, clean, functional and evolution friendly because I know better than anyone that small businesses constantly have to play the “re-invent” game to keep up with the world.
HOW IT ALL WORKS
1. Let’s Talk!
What do you want? I will send you a questionnaire and put together a proposal for you. If you have any specific needs, spell them out and they will all go in the proposal. Nothing is impossible. Just ask!
2. Development & Design
What do you want your site to look like? Draw a pretty picture, create a vision board and then once you like it let’s put it into action.
Look at the live baby and let us know what you think. I can fix the little issues here and clean it all up and then you have a site.
4. Go Live
Put finishing touches on, train you up on WordPress, send it all out to the world.
5. Follow Up
I will check in with you 6 months after your site is built to make sure all is well. After one year you will want a tune-up just to make sure all plugins are working and that the site is still meeting your needs.
